Sanitary water distributor (RSV 102 - RSV 104)
RSV 102 - RSV 104
Used in sanitary water systems. It is designed to distribute hot and cold water from the main line to the consumer (kitchen fittings, bath, bidet, etc.). Several manifolds can be modularly assembled together. They thus allow the user to select the number of outlets. Each outlet is separated from the system by a valve which offers a cut-off of the flow of the medium to the consumer.

*We recommend the use of HERZ Pipefix.

Its advantages are:

- one-stop shop - centralised control of the sanitary water system
- quick modular assembly thanks to simple sealing design
- direct connection from the manifold to the consumer drastically reduces the possibility of leaks at the joints
- installation time reduced by between 30% and 40% due to fewer joints required
- each individual line to the consumer can be marked with labels
- reliable design and long service life
- Compatible with other HERZ products

The HERZ sanitary water manifold is designed for the distribution of hot and cold water in plumbing systems. It ensures efficient and centralized water supply to individual consumers, such as sinks, bathtubs, showers, or washing machines. Its modular design allows flexible configuration of the number of outlets based on user needs.

Each outlet on the manifold is separated by a special valve that allows easy shut-off and prevents water flow to the consumer. The manifold is made of high-quality forged brass in compliance with UBA/4MS standards, ensuring long service life and reliable operation.

Installation is simple, as the manifolds can be modularly connected without the need for additional seals or adhesives. The connectors are designed for direct connection with the HERZ Pipefix system, minimizing the risk of leaks and enabling quick installation.

Advantages of the HERZ sanitary water manifold:
  • Everything in one place – centralized control over the sanitary water supply
  • Quick modular assembly – easy installation without additional sealing
  • Fewer joints, less risk of leakage – direct connection to the consumer
  • Reduced installation time – up to 40% faster assembly due to fewer required fittings
  • Labeling of individual circuits – each outlet can be clearly marked for easier management
  • Reliable design – robust brass construction ensures long service life
  • Compatibility with the HERZ system – suitable for use with other HERZ products
  • The manifold is tested under constant quality control and designed for easy maintenance and long-term reliable operation. During installation, the correct positioning and water flow direction marked on the housing must be observed.

For optimal performance, we recommend using HERZ Pipefix pipes and regular maintenance in accordance with DIN 1988 standards.
Operating Data:
  • Maximum operating pressure: 10 bar
  • Minimum operating temperature: 0 °C (water 0.5 °C)
  • Maximum operating temperature: 110 °C
  • Medium: sanitary water or water for heating systems
  • Connections: external (G3/4" Eurocone) and internal thread (G3/4") according to ISO 228

Medium:
The water quality must comply with ÖNORM H 5195 and VDI 2035 standards. The use of ethylene or propylene glycol in a mixing ratio of 25–50% is allowed. EPDM seals are sensitive to lubricants containing mineral oils, which can cause damage to the seals. When using ethylene glycol-based products for frost and corrosion protection, follow the manufacturer's documentation.

Handle:
The manifold is factory-set so that all branches are open. By rotating the green handle, the flow through each branch can be adjusted as shown in the diagram. The maximum torque for the handle is 1.5 Nm—using a higher torque may damage the sealing surface or the handle.

Positioning:
The manifold housing is designed so that the handle is tilted at a 20° angle for easier operation and installation in a distribution cabinet.
Sealing:
All HERZ sanitary manifolds allow for quick and easy expansion with additional units (two, three, or four branches). Pre-installed O-ring seals on the housing ensure a secure connection between multiple manifolds without requiring additional sealing materials or adhesives.

To connect two housings, fully screw the external G3/4" thread into the internal thread, then unscrew slightly until the handles of both manifolds align. Before first use, it is recommended to apply silicone-based lubricant to the O-ring for optimal sealing. The HERZ blank plug must be installed at the end of the manifold to ensure safe and uninterrupted system operation.

HERZ - Sanitary water manifold systems can be easily installed directly onto the wall using bracket 8422. The installation position is arbitrary, offering flexibility in the setup.

Pipes are screwed onto HERZ drinking water manifolds. It is important that the pipes are correctly aligned to prevent the manifold from being subjected to bending moments. When using copper or plastic pipes, it is essential to consider the pressure and temperature limitations of the selected material. Use an appropriate assembly tool that adapts to the manifold's connections during installation. We recommend using the HERZ Pipefix G3/4" connection.

After assembly, the manifold connections must be checked for water-tightness by the installer. The installer must ensure that all connections are properly sealed. All technical standards and applicable regulations must be followed by qualified personnel. If there are impurities in the medium (e.g., hard water, dust, etc.), a filter should be installed to prevent damage to the seals inside the manifold.

Each outlet of sanitary manifolds (e.g., sink, bath, etc.) is identified by a small label, either blue or red, with an icon indicating the point of use (*labels are supplied with the product). Use RED labels for hot circuits and BLUE labels for cold circuits.
